Ultrasound Machine donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre

We are delighted to have been able to donate a therapeutic ultrasound machine for the Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre physiotherapy satellite clinics in the Midlands.

Utilising ultrasound waves through muscle, nerve and connective tissue, ultrasound treatment helps to reduce pain, muscle spasm and join contracture.

The therapy helps patients to remain fit and healthy for as long as possible and prevents their loss of independence.

Early intervention slows muscle loss, reduces pain, keeps people in work and participating in community life as well as keeping people out of hospital.
